Great Reno Balloon Race Activities

ATTEND THE RACES

The Great Reno Balloon Race is free to spectators.  It is always scheduled for the first Friday through Sunday after Labor Day.  Weather during that period can usually be described as benign.  Dressing in layers is advised as the mornings can be chilly before dawn.  But once the sun comes up the mercury rises quickly. If you forget to bring enough layers, no worries.  Official sweatshirts and jackets are available at the event

Saturday, September 6
5:00 a.m. - Glow Show (Major Sponsor Balloons)
5:30 a.m. - Dawn Patrol
6:45 a.m. - Wells Fargo Mass Ascension Launch / Hare & Hound Competition
7:30 - 10:00 a.m. - Other on-field competitions
2:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Balloons, Jazz & Wine Walk

Cost is $15.00 per person
